EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
The candidate must posses law degree from any recognized university upto the last date for receipt of application.
Preference will be given to candidates who are first-class graduates, have completed two years of practice in the legal profession (at the Bar), or hold higher qualifications.
AGE LIMIT
Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years old.
Age is calculated as of January 1, 2027.
A 5-year relaxation in the maximum age limit will be provided for:
Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Other Backward Classes (OBC)
Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan)
Employees of Government/Corporations/Boards/Autonomous bodies
Home Guards (Nagar Sainik)
Women (both Unreserved and Reserved categories), etc.
SCHEME FOR EXAMINATION
Preliminary Examination – An objective-type screening test to shortlist candidates for the mains exam.
Interview/Personality Test – An oral evaluation to test legal aptitude, communication skills, and overall personality.
Document Verification – Final scrutiny of educational and identity documents before appointment.
PLAN FOR PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION
The exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)- Section A (150 Marks)
The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)- Section B (300 Marks)
Total Marks: 450
Duration: 3 Hours (180 minutes)
Marking Scheme:
+3 marks for each correct answer.
-1 mark for each incorrect answer. (Negative marking will be done)
The question paper is available in both Hindi and English.
