Bihar Judiciary (PCS-J) Preparation Bihar Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) Preparation

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

a). A Degree in Law from a Recognized University/Institute.

b). Three years of experience at the Bar. 

c). Candidate must be a Citizen of India.

 

AGE LIMIT

Not exceeding 35 years (relaxable for government servants upto 5 years in accordance with instructions or orders issued by Central Government).

 

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION

Preliminary Examination: Objective And Multiple choice type

Interview: Viva- Voce (Personality Type)

 

PLAN FOR PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION 

The exam will be of Multiple Objective Types which will be consist of 100 questions.

Exam duration will be 2 Hours. 

There will be Negative Marking i.e. 1/3rd mark deducted for every incorrect answer.

Minimum 40% marks required to qualify the preliminary exam. 

 

SYLLABUS FOR PRELIMINARY EXAM 

 (1) Constitutional Law

(2) Criminal Law including IPC and CrPC/ BNS And BNSS

(3) Indian Evidence Act/ BSA

(4) Prevention of Corruption Act

(5) Delhi Special Police Establishment Act

(6) Information Technology Act (IT Act)

(7) Central Vigilance Commission Act (CVC Act)

(8) Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA Act 2002)

 

INTERVIEW 

It will carry 100 Marks.

Standard of suitability for the interview for candidates belonging to various categories is fixed as under:

General/EWS/OBC Category : 50 and above

SC/ST : 40 and above (on relaxed standards)
