1. Short title and extent.-
(1) This Act ma) be called the Haryana Urban {Control of Rent and Eviction) Act, 1973.
(2) It shall cx tend to all urban areas in Haryann but nothing herein contained shall apply to any cantonment kea. l[3) Nothing in this Act shall apply to any building the construction of which is completed on or after the commencement of this Act for a period of ten years from the date of its completion.]
